What are iQsongs?

Patterns & Sequences that even a child can remember...

We are taught ABCs from infancy as they are the sequence of letters used in the English language for reading & writing. Through music, song and repetition, these letters are memorized and become the basis of words.

Likewise, this idea was applied to other educational subjects, which also have specific patterns. Learning these patterns with music can help children to more easily recall facts and grow in their interest and knowledge about the world.

How does it Work and What are some Sequences or Patterns?

The Orchestra

  • The standard sequence of the 4 major families of instruments in an Orchestra as depicted on music score or sheet music.
  • This sequence also aids in the understanding of sound frequency relationships between similar instruments of the same family.
  • The instruments are played in the background in sync with the names of the instruments.
  • This will help to identify the instruments and the family it belongs to.

The Alphabet

  • The modern Latin based letter writing system and sequence.

The Elements

  • A sequence of the chemical elements by increasing atomic #. These are the first 32 elements in the Periodic Table.

The Bones of the Body

  • A sequence of major bones & bone groups starting from the head down to the toes. This will introduce the location and scientific names for each bone or bone group.

The Days of the Week

  • The basic sequence of days in the modern week that originated on ancient lunar calendars.

The Months of the Year
